Where to spend your time: There are two categories of note at Poolchat.net – the ‘AAA main forum’ (900 threads, 6k posts); and “ask fast larry” (730 threads, 5k posts) where you can ask questions of the resident pro.

Forum Review
Poolchat’s main discussions – the pro tips and the general category – are commonplace at a number of different forums. However, this site stands out as a result of the sheer volume of threads answered by one pro over a short period of time (registered in 2005). As well, Poolchat has a Christians pool players category – which was something I hadn’t seen on any other site.

The Skinny: Poolchat has a good archive of old posts, and a specifically helpful pro tips category. Maybe not the first forum you should check out, but it’s definitely worth a stop.
