Where to spend your time: Lots of different places to hang out on the Seyberts forums – its one of those odd forums that has a number of different categories contending for the most popular. ‘Predator cues and shafts’ (900 threads, 9,000 posts); ‘General Chitchat’ (300 threads, 5,000 posts); ‘In & around billiards’ (300 threads, 3,000 posts); ‘general equipment’ (300 threads, 3,000 posts)
Forum Review
Another forum attached to an billiards e-commerce site, the Seyberts discussion board likely began as a knowledge base for customers of the main website. However, the forum has grown to have a number of growing categories… and is clearly an excellent resource for pool cue information (likely over 2,000 threads of cue types alone).
Seyberts has a number of thread categories based on shaft types, as well as areas to ask specific support questions regarding the retail side (shipping, sales policy).
The Skinny: Seyberts is very much a niche forum – it has great information for those looking to buy a pool cue. There are definitely bigger billiards communities out there, but Seyberts does a good job of filling an information need.
